I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master's in English Education. I completed my education at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, earning a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I taught middle school English in Smiths Station, AL before moving to Enterprise and serving as the Assistant Principal at Enterprise Junior High. I moved to Troy in July 2004 and began teaching English at Goshen High School. Since then I have worked as an Interventionist at Goshen High School and the Assistant Principal at Pike County High School. I began my current position in July of 2019.
