Amy Garrett


Mrs. Garrett has worked in education for 21 years - both public and private. Mrs. Garrett attended Troy University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She earned a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education at Alabama State University.  Throughout her educational career, Mrs. Garrett has worked as an elementary and middle school teacher, an AMSTI Science Specialist at the regional and state level, as an Assistant Headmaster in a private school setting, and is most currently enjoying her role as the elementary STEM teacher for Pike County Schools. 

Mrs. Garrett and her husband have lived in the Pike County area for approximately 11 years. They have two children who attend the Pike County School System and participate in some of the exciting educational programs the system offers.
